This sparked our vision to harness cutting-edge technology for ethical animal management.
Today, OneCup leverages advanced AI and computer vision to support livestock producers, veterinary pharmaceutical companies, and animal health organizations in delivering better care outcomes across diverse animal populations.
Hanif brings over 25 years of extensive experience and strategic expertise in telecommunications and software to the TELUS leadership team, with a focus on strategy, sales, marketing, and management. He provides technical thought leadership in next-generation solutions for emerging technologies, including Connected Cars, 5G, Smart Cities, Private Wireless Networks, and Global Connectivity. Additionally, Hanif’s experience on various boards will be invaluable to the Board as we attract more institutional investors.
David brings over 20 years of experience in finance, capital markets, and strategic advisory to the OneCup AI leadership team. With a background as a senior equity research analyst at leading firms such as RBC Capital Markets, BMO, and FBR, David offers deep expertise in financial planning, valuation, and growth strategy. He has worked extensively across technology, telecom, and media sectors, and has also led his own consulting practice advising emerging companies. David’s financial leadership and capital markets insight are instrumental as we expand operations and build long-term value for our stakeholders.
William H. Smith is a director, investor, and advisor with a focus on effective governance, corporate finance, and strategy in diverse domestic and international businesses, both traditional and innovative. He has been a board member or senior officer of more than 20 listed companies and numerous closely held companies, most of which he became involved with as a startup.
Bill also actively supports the nonprofit sector as a board director, currently including Bio-Conservation Databank Foundation, Energi Simulation Foundation, C2C2C Unity Corridor Foundation, and formerly chair of the Advisory Board of the National Research Council’s IRAP.
